Tripp Peake

Tripp Peake has more than thirty years of experience in venture investing and venture development focused on early stage companies. Peake is a co-founder and General Partner of LRVHealth, a Boston-based venture fund focused on starting and building the next generation of innovative healthcare IT, tech-enabled service, medical device, and diagnostic companies. LRVHealth’s core investor base includes both healthcare providers and payers and represents a network of 13 institutions with approximately 2,800 points of care and 30,000 clinicians covering 25 states and touching a population of 60 million people. The LRVHealth fund is the 4th LRV fund since the firm was formed in 2000. LRVHealth has been investing in digital health before there was a term called “digital health.” The firm was the first institutional investor in companies like GetWellNetwork, Medventive, and Phreesia.
Immediately prior to forming LRV in 2000, Peake was a partner with Kestrel Venture Management, a Boston-based early stage venture capital firm that invested in both tech and healthcare. Prior to Kestrel, Peake was founding CEO of Mass Ventures, a seed stage fund affiliated with the University of Massachusetts. Peake was also co-founder and CEO of Science Park Associates, a venture development company that contracted with Yale University through Science Park to help build new companies spinning out of Yale University and the Yale Medical School.
Peake holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Yale University.
